On November 17, 2023, 18-year-old Flynn MacKrell was tragically killed when his close friend chose to drive over 105 mph in a 25-mph residential neighborhood. Flynn was gone within minutes of leaving home. His death was preventable.
The Flynn Michael Foundation was created to honor Flynn's life and to fight for change so that no other family has to endure this kind of loss.

Current laws allow dangerous teen drivers to avoid meaningful consequences through blended sentencing, which places offenders in juvenile facilities while adult prison sentences are suspended and often never served. This practice shields dangerous teen drivers from adult accountability, even in cases involving fatal, foreseeable, and preventable conduct.
